14 Ways to Attract Abundance in Your Life
We all want more wealth, more health, more time, more peace and happiness and as I have been on a mission to find these myself I feel well placed to share.
Over the last fours years, I’ve found numerous ways and believe these 14 are the best, at least they have been for me.
1. Begin With Gratitude.
Always start with giving thanks, appreciate what you already have and watch the changes in your life that come from this one simple action. Give thanks daily, even if it is just for your great electric toothbrush, appreciate what you have to gain more!
2. Imagine It.
Imagination begins in the heart and mind, remember that every great achievement began in the mind of one person. They dared to imagine and to believe that it was possible.
Take some time to allow yourself to ask, What if? Really think big. Do not let negative thoughts or self-doubts discourage you.
You want to be someone who imagines their ideal day and life. Imagine the possibilities for yourself, your family and for others. If you have a lifestyle that you’ve always imagined and you’ve let life get in the way and almost forgotten it, take this chance to re-ignite the flame and go for what you always imagined your life to be.
3. Enhance Your Mindset.
People with a mindset of lack live in a world of limitation, while those that live in a mindset of abundance, attract a world that is full of abundance. An abundance of life, being healthy, great relationships and wealth.
Those with a lack mindset think there is not enough to go around in the world, they have a fear-based mindset. They do not believe you can have it all, they think it is either/or, and never both. In a lack person’s mindset, they go for safety and security over love, safety before self-expression, and protection over the possibility of a great life.
People with an abundance understand that with a little imagination, some unconventional and open-minded thoughts, they can have it all. When you build your life on the “Have It All” mentality, you will see opportunities that you were once blind to and attract abundance you could never imagine before.
What about you? Are you operating from an Abundance mindset or a fear-based mindset? Do you need to enhance your mindset?
4. Create Your Own Empowering Reality.
We are all creating our own reality second by second. and they chances are you are not being intentional about the reality that you are creating currently.
‘What you believe is True”, as reality is subjective if you realise that it’s something you construct, if you realise that you are choosing to believe something, then you can choose to believe that you can do something about it. You can be the author of change in your life by creating an empowering reality for yourself. Understand all the power lies with you.
A quick exercise to empower you:
Grab a sheet of paper and a pen, as it works best when you physically write it rather than type it; Write down the beliefs that you have about yourself.
On one side of the paper, list the things that empower you and move you forward. The things that make you more confident, that give you the courage and the ‘get up and go’ to move forward.
On the other side, list the things that demotivate or leave you feeling ‘down in the dumps’ and that move you away from your desired goals.
Now look at the list and choose to believe things that empower you, and you can choose to ignore the things dis-empower you. Do that every day and catch yourself throughout the day, set a timer for every few hours and check in where you are creating your reality from.
5. Realise & Own Your Potential.
Realise that you have the potential to be and do anything you chose.
The wonderful thing about potential is that it can grow, you just need to start in the direction of your goals, each step taking you closer. One of my mentors always says “Inch by Inch its a synch, Mile by Mile is hard”, so build upon yourself slowly. Imagine a snowball rolling down a hill, gaining size and energy as it rolls, be like that.
Think for a moment about the people you respect. Why do you admire them? You are probably attracted to them because they are full of realised potential. They went out there and did what it is you want to do, realise they once were where you are now, no one becomes the success overnight, even though it often looks that way. The only difference between you and them is TIME.
So today you have a choice. Will you sit at the top of the hill merely contemplating your potential? Or will you give yourself a little shove and roll down that hill, gaining potential, and speed and ultimately knocking over all the obstacles standing in your way?
6. Stop The Excuses.
Eliminating your excuses is key, as our excuses hold us back and allow us to procrastinate.
This is a little trick I use that works well, instead of saying ‘I’d really like to, but‘,
I stop the ‘but‘ and say ‘I’d really like to.’
This triggers your mind to focus on the plans you need to make to reach your goals, instead of the roadblocks or imagined ones, currently in your way.
7. Face Your Fears.
“Feel the fear, but do it anyway.”
Recognise your fears, own up to them, and do what you want to do regardless of what you think is likely to happen because that is what is holding you back. Yes, it’s a lot easier said than done, but it’s one thing to say you have control of your life and another to take control.
I’ve noticed after facing many fears that fear always seems to be some massive tyrannosaurus that is going to end my days, yet when I lean into and face the fear it often turns out to be a wobbly penguin! Try it and see.
8. Attract & Allow Opportunity.
Opportunities and success are something you attract and allow by becoming a person that attracts and allows opportunity into their lives.
If you can develop your skills of attraction and allowing, by refining your mindset, removing the self-doubts and blinkers to opportunity that we all wear. Be open-minded and opportunity will probably seek you out.
9. Commit To Having Your Dreams.
Once you commit to living your dreams, the blinkers on your eyes will be removed, a completely new world will be opened to you.
You will notice opportunities that have been in your reach all along, ones your conscious mind simply didn’t see before. The fundamental change taking place is your self-identity. This is the point of no return. Once this shift has happened, your whole world changes.
- Nothing becomes impossible to you.
- Your only limitations are your consciousness, which is quickly expanding.
- Whatever you want quickly becomes yours because you see what most people don’t.
- Now that you can see it everywhere, you are sprinting.
10. Keep Pushing.
Even after you achieve a goal, you’re not content. For you, it’s not even about the goal. It’s about the climb to see how far you can push yourself.
Does this make you ungrateful? Absolutely not. You’re entirely humbled and grateful for everything in your life. Which is why you will never get complacent or lazy.
11. Add Value To Others.
When you stand on the beach and watch the waves hit the shore, do you think there’s an end to the water? There is, of course, but we can’t comprehend it, so we think seawater is endlessly abundant. You would never deny a bucketful to a child building a sand castle because you can refill that bucket again and again. That’s how the abundance mindset works. You give away praise, recognition, ideas, knowledge, and money because you know there’s plenty to go around. What you give away will come back to you a thousand times over.
12. Join A Group Of Like-Minded People.
Join a group of like-minded individuals who are on the same path as you, you will find that you can help each other when the going gets tough and learn from each other’ss experiences. If you can find a mentor who has already done what you want to do, make sure you listen, learn and implement and then share what you have learnt.
13. Grab All The Possibilities.
Explore the unique, endless possibilities within you. Remember that when you work on improving yourself, you’re adding to the youth, vitality and beauty of your mind.
14. Start Meditating Daily.
Meditate daily, start with 5 minutes and work up to at least 24 minutes a day, a great place to start is an app called the Insight Timer, it contains guided meditations and you can see who else is meditating, maybe join a meditation group and coordinate your meditations.
If you feel you do not have enough time to meditate then you definitely need meditation, I started some years ago with a 30-day challenge and it changed my life, it will have a massive impact for the positive on your life, go on give it a try.
